Dylan Rayner recently joined the Driven team as a Performance Coach with a passion for helping people build strength, confidence, and resilience both inside and outside the gym.
Dylan earned his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science with a concentration in Pre-Rehabilitation from Texas State University. During his four years in college, he worked as a personal trainer in San Marcos, gaining experience coaching clients with a wide variety of goals, from improving overall health and building strength to enhancing athletic performance.
Alongside coaching, Dylan developed a passion for endurance sports and has competed in marathons, Ironman triathlons, and ultramarathons, including multiple 100- and 200-mile races. His own athletic journey has shaped the way he coaches, teaching him that meaningful progress comes from consistency, discipline, and a willingness to embrace challenges. Growing up playing sports and constantly pushing his limits, he learned that doing hard things builds character, and he strives to lead by example for every client he works with.
Dylan is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), NASM Certified Nutrition Coach (CNC), and a USA Track & Field Level 1 Coach. His coaching philosophy blends evidence-based strength training, endurance development, injury prevention, and sustainable nutrition to help clients build a lifestyle they can maintain for years to come. Whether someone is preparing for their first race, looking to improve athletic performance, or simply wanting to move and feel better, Dylan believes fitness should enhance every aspect of life.
Outside of coaching, Dylan enjoys spending time with his dog, Rocket, who definitely lives up to his name. Dylan is a firm believer that ranch dressing makes every meal better and rarely passes up an opportunity to take on a new challenge!
What drives Dylan most is the opportunity to inspire others to become the best version of themselves. He believes that everyone is capable of more than they think, and his goal is to help clients build the confidence, discipline, and habits that carry over far beyond the gym.
Welcome Dylan to the Driven Team! You can usually find him between the hours of 6am-2pm M-F on the turf! Come say hello if you haven’t already.
