Andy Twellman - Driven Austin Performance Specialist

Andy Twellman
M.ED., CSCS, FAFS
Performance Specialist

Andy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Truman State and a Master’s in Kinesiology from the University of Texas—but don’t worry, he won’t quiz you on biomechanics mid-workout (unless you’re into that sort of thing). With over 20 years in the fitness industry, he’s worked with everyone from first-timers just figuring out what a dumbbell is to pro athletes fine-tuning the smallest performance details. His superpower? Making training personal, practical, and effective—no matter who’s in front of him.

Andy got his start with internships and volunteer gigs at physical therapy clinics, the renowned Cooper Institute, and with the men’s basketball program at University of Texas. Along the way, he collected a variety of certifications: he’s an NG360° Golf Performance Specialist (Nike/Gray Institute), a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA), a Master Fitness Specialist (Cooper Institute), and a Fellow of Applied Functional Science through the Gray Institute—where he later returned as a facilitator for the class of 2009.

That pursuit led to the creation of Driven Performance Training—a company built on delivering a higher level of service and attention, where relationships matter and clients aren’t treated like just another number. Whether you’re chasing a personal milestone or preparing for elite competition, Andy’s goal is to meet you where you are and help you get where you want to go.

Andy lives in Cedar Park with his wife, Sally, and their three kids—Andrew, Quinn, and Piper—who are both his toughest clients and his biggest cheerleaders.
