Meg LaChapelle is a Performance Coach with nearly a decade of coaching experience working with clients and athletes across a wide range of ages, levels, and sports. Meg has built her coaching approach around understanding how the body functions and using that understanding to help people train more effectively for everyday life or sport.
Meg specializes in individualized training, performance development, and biomechanics. She believes that effective training starts with understanding the individual in front of you—their movement, goals, sport demands, training history, and current needs—and using that information to build a program that makes sense for them.
A significant part of Meg’s background is in sports performance, particularly baseball and softball. She has worked at a baseball performance facility training athletes from youth through the professional level in both year-round and off-season settings. Her experience includes developing individualized programs to help athletes become stronger, more powerful, more resilient, and better prepared for the demands of their sport. She has also worked closely with physical therapists and other performance professionals to support athletes throughout rehabilitation, return-to-play, and ongoing maintenance.
Prior to and alongside her work in sports performance, Meg has worked as a personal trainer and group fitness coach, giving her experience working with individuals with a variety of goals, backgrounds, and training experience. She has also worked with remote clients, providing individualized programming, ongoing communication, and adjustments based on progress and feedback.
Meg’s interest in training began at a young age through her own experience playing sports and strength training. That personal experience, combined with her education and nearly a decade of coaching, has shaped her belief that training should be about more than simply getting stronger or performing better. She is passionate about building strong relationships with the people she works with and helping them move better, feel better, and gain confidence in what their bodies are capable of.
Meg holds a Bachelor’s degree in Movement Science with a concentration in Exercise Science from Westfield State University and is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer.
